Job description

Choice People is looking for an IT Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure across our customer business. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support across multiple locations, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and configurations of IT systems, devices, and infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance and implement improvements to ensure the seamless operation of IT systems.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings in accordance with company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system upgrades.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security protocols, including data protection and network security.
  • Provide assistance with IT-related tasks, such as hardware setup, software installation, and system updates.
  • Contribute to the standardisation of IT processes and procedures across multiple sites.
  • Assist with the integration of new technologies into business operations.

What Youll Need:

  • Relevant IT qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, networks, and operating systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical issues in a business or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems (both server and client) and networking technologies.
  • Familiarity with vitalisation technologies, such as VMware or other hypervisors.
  • Experience with cloud services, productivity software (such as O365), and network infrastructure.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A flexible mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, and understanding of EDI concepts.
  • Certifications such as MCP, CompTIA, or CCNA.
  • Knowledge of IT compliance standards and cybersecurity practices.
