Chef De Partie required to join this talented Culinary Team in this award winning boutique Hotel in County Clare. Choice People on behalf of our client are searching for a passionate, foodie who wants to accelerate their career within the hotel industry.

This role require a responsible professional to join the team as Chef De Partie, they will oversee a section of the kitchen and assist the Executive Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen.

As Chef De Partie you will be an integral part of the kitchen brigade and will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
  • Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
  • Helping the sous chef and Executive Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus
  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
  • Promoting a collaborative and positive working atmosphere at all times

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a 4/5 Star Hotel- minimum 2 years
  • Level 2 HACCP
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Professional qualification
  • Full Driver’s License & ideally own transport
