Duty Manager

Choice People on behalf of Our Client are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager to join this fast paced City Centre property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a helpful and professional image to the guests
  • Actively work with and assist with the management of the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department
  • Assist with all Hotel departments when they are busy
  • Ensure prompt resolution of escalated customer complaints
  • Handle various tasks at one time while maintaining professionalism and a calm approach
  • Make sound decisions in a fast-paced and busy environment
  • Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments within and what they consist of
  • Cover Reception and food & beverage departments where needed
  • Overseeing and ensuring that OH&S and HACCP standards are maintained and adhered to

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry in a similar role
  • Exceptional customer care and problem resolution skills
  • Proven experience of organising and managing a team and delegating tasks effectively
  • Enthusiasm and commitment with a strong commitment to quality, high standards, service and customer care
  • A focus on quality and continuous improvement and the ability to implement change
  • Excellent people skills
  • Flexibility
