Duty Manager
Choice People on behalf of Our Client are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager to join this fast paced City Centre property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a helpful and professional image to the guests
- Actively work with and assist with the management of the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department
- Assist with all Hotel departments when they are busy
- Ensure prompt resolution of escalated customer complaints
- Handle various tasks at one time while maintaining professionalism and a calm approach
- Make sound decisions in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments within and what they consist of
- Cover Reception and food & beverage departments where needed
- Overseeing and ensuring that OH&S and HACCP standards are maintained and adhered to
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry in a similar role
- Exceptional customer care and problem resolution skills
- Proven experience of organising and managing a team and delegating tasks effectively
- Enthusiasm and commitment with a strong commitment to quality, high standards, service and customer care
- A focus on quality and continuous improvement and the ability to implement change
- Excellent people skills
- Flexibility
