Financial Controller

We are currently sourcing a Financial Controller to join our diverse and talented team.

Job Title: Financial Controller

Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to lead the site finance function, ensuring proper financial governance. The role holder is also responsible for oversight of the statutory accounts for the company and is the site contact for the external auditors. The role holder is the site lead for all finance related matters, both internally within the site and externally with third parties.

Accountable to: Director of Finance

Responsibilities:

Relationship Development

Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the site management team, ensuring the provision of accurate financial information and assisting in strategic planning to support the effective running and continuous improvement of the business.

Financial Processes

Support commercial and operational decision making through :

• standard costing
• KPI reporting
• Yield and efficiency reporting
• Working closely with the purchasing team
• Identifying and implementing IT and business system initiatives
• Strategic Planning
• Duty manager responsibility when required.

Required Qualifications:

Third Level Qualifications in Business related subject.

Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)

Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

SAP experience is desirable.

Experience:

Previous experience of managing a finance team.

Minimum of 3 years of Finance Management experience is desirable.

Previous experience in Food/ Dairy manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is also desirable.
