Choice People are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for their client in Laois. This establishment offers a full A La Carte menu across the day including breakfast, lunch and dinner for both the Bar & Restaurant as well as menu offerings for guests near and far for all occasions including family functions, meetings and events.
Daily duties include:
- Responsible for menu planning and manage food quality from preparation to delivery
- Daily ordering of supplies
- Accountable for stock control
- Managing accounts, invoices, delivery, cash, payroll
- Managing HACCP system, implementing new and existing Health & Safety procedures
- Training staff on food safety, health & safety, cash handling procedures
You must have an extensive knowledge of the following:
- Traditional Menu concepts with the addition of flair
- How to manage a good GP
- How to work with local suppliers on seasonal produce
- Manage a team of chefs and work closely with all other departments
- At least 3 years at Senior Sous / Head Chef Level
The following requirements are mandatory:
- You must be currently residing in the Republic of Ireland
- You must be have an eligible working visa to work full time in Ireland
