As our Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Operations/General Manager to ensure the smooth and professional management of our front of house team. Your leadership will drive exceptional service and contribute to the overall success in our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations within all food and beverage outlets, ensuring an efficient and superior guest experience.
- Ensure smooth running of the restaurant, maintaining high standards in service and operations.
- Oversee and manage the activities of Food and Beverage Assistants, ensuring they are clear on their responsibilities and deliver consistently high service standards.
- Assist in preparing weekly staff rotas, ensuring fair distribution of duties among the team.
- Greet guests warmly, ensuring all team members provide professional and courteous service.
- Be fully knowledgeable of all product offerings, including menus, specials, beverages, and wine lists.
- Familiarise yourself and the team with current sales promotions, and actively upsell at every opportunity.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are presented and served according to company standards.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of the restaurant, bar, and other food and beverage outlets before and after service.
- Adhere to company cash handling procedures and assist with stock control management.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Initiative-taking: Confident in guest relations and capable of motivating the team.
- Leadership: Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks while providing training and support to colleagues.
- Customer Service: Courteous, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
- Meticulous: Standards-driven, with a keen eye for detail.
- Multi-tasking: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Communication: Fluent in English with excellent self-presentation.
