As Assistant Revenue and Reservations Manager you will work closely with the Director of Revenue and Front Office Team to assist in achieving the hotel’s set KPI’S. A key element of this role is to maximise revenue, whilst ensuring a quality service is delivered to new and returning guests across various channels such as phone, email etc. Ensuring all rates and packages agreed with the Director of Revenue are updated using the revenue management system. Having a strong knowledge of the Dublin City Market is necessary for this role as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong multi-tasker.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with incoming telephone calls for reservations room enquiries
  • Dealing with incoming e-mail queries from new and existing clients
  • Taking reservations accurately and in a helpful, friendly manner
  • Responding to all email reservations, conference and events enquires in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Answering telephone calls promptly using proper telephone etiquette
  • Manage group blocks, managing cut off dates, deposits, and contracts.
  • Maximise rooms and other revenue sales through efficient revenue management.
  • Support and guidance for the Reservations team.

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong knowledge of Property Management System
  • Strong customer service ethos and background
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to work well in team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and other computer software’s
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • 3-5 years experience working as a Hotel Reservations Manager
