What You will Do:

  • Lead with Passion: Provide direction and leadership to the reception team, ensuring high-quality service and effective communication across all hotel departments.
  • Ensure Guest Delight: Oversee guest welcome, check-in/check-out processes, and swiftly address any suggestions or complaints to ensure a pleasant stay.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage reservations during after-hours and weekends, ensure the switchboard is professionally managed, and allocate rooms efficiently.
  • Develop Your Team: Recruit, train, and nurture team members, conducting regular performance reviews and skills training sessions.
  • Uphold Standards: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, and SOPs, maintaining exceptional standards of service, hygiene, and safety.
  • Financial Savvy: Control budgets, manage stock levels, and ensure accurate and prompt payroll documentation.
  • Foster Teamwork: Develop excellent relationships with all relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and Improve: Regularly review guest feedback, update processes and procedures, and implement strategies to enhance service and efficiency.

What We are Looking For:

  • Experienced Leader: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Reception Manager in a busy 4-star hotel in Ireland.
  • Tech-Savvy: Previous experience with Guestline PMS is advantageous.
  • Customer-Centric: A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Professional Demeanour: Friendly, approachable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster effective teamwork.
  • Organized and Efficient: Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure smooth operations.
