What You will Be Doing

  • Respond promptly and professionally to group, catering, and golf-related inquiries.
  • Be the champion for golf groups, ensuring seamless guest room and meeting space management while suggesting creative alternatives to meet client needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate account files and build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Craft and execute contracts that align with client requirements, while managing all event details meticulously.
  • Use Opera to manage bookings, forecasts, and accurate reporting for events and reservations.
  • Conduct resort site inspections to highlight the property’s unique features and offerings.
  • Keep all event details, menus, and rooming lists updated at least 14 days prior to events.
  • Drive client engagement by attending to feedback and continuously chasing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with key teams to ensure smooth operations for events, from catering to wine list updates with sommeliers.
  • Provide comprehensive feedback to the sales and management team, including reports on lost and won business.

Who You Are

  • You have proven experience in a sales role, ideally in the hospitality sector.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are second nature to you.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
  • A confident team player who excels in delivering on goals and making a mark with clients and colleagues alike.
  • An interest in golf is a bonus, helping you connect with the clientele on a deeper level.
