Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior management in achieving budgeted sales targets.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships within the Cork community.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities through proactive outreach.
  • Maintain and grow existing client accounts to maximise revenue.
  • Conduct face-to-face sales calls with corporate clients and local businesses.
  • Deliver engaging presentations tailored to potential clients.
  • Drive revenue growth through telesales and networking efforts.
  • Research market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager and operational teams.
  • Provide weekly reports on sales activities.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold relevant sales qualifications.
  • Have three or more years of experience in a sales management role.
  • Have at least two years of experience in food and beverage and conference and banqueting sales within hospitality
  • Be results-driven and focused on achieving sales targets.
  • Thrive in a client-facing role and enjoy networking.
  • Have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
  • Hold a full driving license and own transport.
