Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively plan and organize conferences and events
  • Continuously improve the event and conferencing service
  • Assist the Reservations Team as required
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Build strong relationships with clients to enhance repeat business
  • Capture all relevant details for bookings, ensuring accuracy and professionalism
  • Handle event-related payments and ensure fees are collected on time
  • Upsell event services and promotions to optimise client experience
  • Accurately input booking details into GuestLine and Res Diary
  • Collaborate with key departments including Operations, Food & Beverage, and Reservations
  • Create and issue Event Agreements, ensuring accuracy and client approval
  • Support the Reservations Team with calls, emails, and booking inquiries when needed
  • Attend daily team meetings and contribute proactively
  • Prepare weekly reports on upcoming events and sales performance

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in conference and event coordination, preferably in hospitality
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Have a customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach
  • Be detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple bookings simultaneously
  • Work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude
  • Exhibit flexibility in working shifts when needed
