Key Responsibilities
- Effectively plan and organize conferences and events
- Continuously improve the event and conferencing service
- Assist the Reservations Team as required
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams
- Build strong relationships with clients to enhance repeat business
- Capture all relevant details for bookings, ensuring accuracy and professionalism
- Handle event-related payments and ensure fees are collected on time
- Upsell event services and promotions to optimise client experience
- Accurately input booking details into GuestLine and Res Diary
- Collaborate with key departments including Operations, Food & Beverage, and Reservations
- Create and issue Event Agreements, ensuring accuracy and client approval
- Support the Reservations Team with calls, emails, and booking inquiries when needed
- Attend daily team meetings and contribute proactively
- Prepare weekly reports on upcoming events and sales performance
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in conference and event coordination, preferably in hospitality
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- Have a customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach
- Be detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple bookings simultaneously
- Work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
- Be a team player with a positive attitude
- Exhibit flexibility in working shifts when needed
