Snapshot of Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong partnerships with local and national companies.
- Ensure smooth handover of conferences, meetings, and events.
- Achieve revenue targets and meet budget goals.
- Expand the client base, including corporate clients and third-party agencies.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Support long-term Food & Beverage strategies.
Ideal Candidate:
- 1-2 years of experience in corporate sales or events role in a hotel environment.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and multitask.
- Effective communicator with a customer-oriented approach.
- Understanding of financials, KPIs, and budget management.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and adapt to challenges.
- Knowledge of booking systems (CMS, PMS), Hotsoft experience required.
- Familiarity with the local Cork corporate marketplace.
- Flexible role options: three, four, or five-day work week.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with booking engine CMS and PMS (Avvio preferred), Revinate, Microsoft Office programs, Hotsoft, Tablepath.
