Job description

As Duty Manager you will report to the Operations Manager, the Duty Manager will be responsible for smooth running of hotel on their shift and ensure that our guests experience the highest quality service while enjoying their stay. Supporting all departments you must be a strong allrounder to be successful in this role.

Main Duties:

  • To ensure that all customers receive excellent service during their stay
  • Engage with guests and act upon guest feedback
  • Assisting in training of the team members in SOPs from their areas
  • Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations
  • Working alongside and supporting the operations Manager
  • Motivate and create an engaging work environment within the departments
  • To have excellent product knowledge

Key Requirements:

  • 2-3 years in a similar role in a 4 Star Hotel in Ireland is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and have positive attitude
  • Passionate about hospitality and excellent service
  • Flexible with hours/ own Transport
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management and organisational skills Top of Form
