About the Role: As the Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the F&B Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Food and Beverage department. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining high standards of service, training staff, and exceeding guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the F&B Manager in setting and implementing all Food and Beverage standards.
- Ensure guests are welcomed on arrival and all their needs are met.
- Fully train staff in delivering the agreed service standards.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
- Collaborate with HR for recruitment and staff appraisals.
- Conduct appraisals to assess performance and development needs.
- Maintain high standards of staff presentation and uniform.
- Perform Duty Management duties and support other hotel areas as needed.
- Attend management meetings in the absence of the F&B Manager and communicate key information to the team.
- Uphold a 4-star standard, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Senior F&B Supervisor in a similar property in Ireland.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting and cost control.
- Passionate about guest satisfaction and delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
