Role Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure all departments are fully staffed and operating seamlessly.
- Conduct regular walk-through’s to maintain the highest standards of operations.
- Oversee cash-handling procedures and ensure strict adherence to protocols.
- Develop and foster professional relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Liaise with the reception and sales teams to coordinate seamless function organisation.
- Maintain and improve standard operating procedures and update them as needed.
- Uphold employee conduct, uniform, and hygiene standards.
- Create effective rotas, ensuring staffing levels are efficient and appropriate.
- Actively promote the hotel and its facilities to maximise sales and revenue.
- Enforce Licensing Laws, in-house security policies, and Rules of Management.
- Resolve problems proactively and seize opportunities to improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Foster clear communication between departments and suggest service improvements.
- Execute any other reasonable duties as required by management.
Food & Beverage Management:
- Oversee all food service operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, and catering.
- Monitor inventory, quality standards, and food and beverage costs to optimise profitability.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus and food concepts.
Team Management and Development:
- Recruit, train, and motivate food service professionals, including waitstaff and bartenders.
- Provide continuous coaching, performance evaluations, and skills development opportunities.
- Implement training programs to raise service standards and enhance product knowledge.
Guest Experience Enhancement:
- Ensure every guest receives warm, friendly, and personalised service.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Regularly gather guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to introduce fresh concepts.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the annual budget for food and beverage operations.
- Analyse sales data and implement cost-control strategies to meet financial goals.
- Work with the management team to develop pricing strategies and promotional initiatives.
