Choice People are currently recruiting a General Assistant to work in an office environment. This role will include the duties of cleaning, setting up meeting rooms, greeting customers and light administration. This is a parttime role of up to 18 hours per week over 3 days (availability Monday to Friday)
This is a temporary role for up to 12 weeks and could lead to further opportunities.
Main Duties:
- To ensure all cleaning duties are carried out throughout the building while on duty, this includes kitchen, corridors, toilet facilities and meeting rooms
- To ensure all meeting rooms are set up if / when required for service based on the client’s requirements
- To ensure set up for all beverages and lite bites are prepared in advance of meetings
- To familiarise yourself and to carry out duties laid out in the role‘s SOPs;
- Meet and greet clients on arrival if and when required
- Ensure that all guests’ requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and an exceptional service is always delivered to clients
- Be familiar with the food offering and be in a position to answer any questions clients may have
- Administrative duties including customer service calls, processing invoices, confirming meetings and events
The successful candidate will have:
- Friendly and professional work attitude
- Fluent English essential – written and spoken
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage eg; hospitality sector including conference & banqueting assistant, catering assistant, cleaner
- Full Clean Driver‘s license
- Valid Manual Handing Certificate ( training can be provided)
