Choice People are recruiting on behalf of their client for a Morning Duty Manager. This boutique hotel caters for residents and the with Breakfasts, Lunches and Dinners from both the Bar & Restaurant as well as menu offerings for guests near and far for all occasions including family functions, meetings and events and boutique weddings.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the morning Duty Manager will provide a friendly and efficient service to the guests, ensuring their satisfaction with the food & beverage service at all times, as well as seeing to the reception and administrative duties throughout the day.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills with guests, in person, online or over the telephone
- Update bookings and reservations on a daily basis to communicate to the teams
- Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly using their name.
- Ensure a good working knowledge of the food & beverage dept. Be able to make recommendations.
- Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
- Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
- working with the Operations Manager, update the property’s social media campaigns
Requirements:
- Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel property is desired
- Experience in both Front of House and Food service would be an advantage
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
- Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
This role is 4 days a week, 7am to 4pm and will rotate to work every 2nd weekend , this may vary to meet the demands of the business.
