Production Operative

Choice People are recruiting on behalf of our client for a temporary Production Operative position in a factory setting. This role is available for immediate start, and full training will be provided.

Role Overview:

This position is located in South Laois, with working hours of Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Due to the factory’s location, candidates must have access to their own transport, as it is not accessible by public transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders
• Scanning orders and packing them onto pallets
• Operating scanning and picker systems
• Ability to work in busy/fast paced environment is essential
• Previous packing experience
• Good English and communication skills
• Basic PC skills
• Good numerical skills
• Ability to follow and carry out instructions
• Quality consious
• Adherence to company policies and procedures
• Flexibility to cross training on other functions, e.g., shipping line

Desirable Qualifications:

• Valid Manual Handling Certificate
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
