What You will Do:
- Build Strong Relationships: Establish and nurture robust connections with new and existing suppliers.
- Strategize and Save: Develop and implement innovative purchasing strategies to achieve goals and targets.
- Negotiate Like a Pro: Vet suppliers, negotiate exceptional deals, and research cost-effective alternatives.
- Collaborate for Success: Partner with the accounts department on budgets and purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Track and Report: Document supplier metrics, conduct in-depth pricing analysis, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost savings.
- Support Hotel Teams: Provide crucial pricing data and procurement updates to hotel teams, ensuring smooth internal operations.
- Analyse and Present: Offer analytical support to the accounting team and present comprehensive periodic and ad hoc reports to management.
Who You Are:
- Experienced Professional: Boasting at least 5-6 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Academically Prepared: A third-level degree in Business/Procurement is highly desirable.
- Negotiation Guru: Exemplary negotiating skills with a proven ability to secure the best deals.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with procurement systems like Hoist – Hot soft and Procure Wizard.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Reliable and Focused: Punctual, self-motivated, and driven to succeed in a challenging environment.
- Team Player: Capable of working independently and collaboratively with excellent communication skills.
