Why This Role? Step into a pivotal role where your expertise will guide the reservations team to new heights. You will manage daily operations, ensure revenue and occupancy targets are met, and collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to shape the hotel’s financial success.

What You will Do:

• Lead Operations: Oversee the daily operation of the reservations office, managing accommodation and restaurant reservations while supporting other departments.
• Drive Revenue: Achieve accommodation and total revenue targets, tracking and converting enquiries into sales.
• Handle Enquiries: Manage the enquiry handling system from initial contact to contract handover, ensuring professional and timely responses.
• Maximize Sales: Ensure all up-selling opportunities are exploited and dining/spa bookings are confirmed for guests.
• Collaborate: Work with the sales department to generate new business leads and deliver client agreements.
• Manage Team: Produce departmental rotas, approve holidays, arrange training, and ensure all tasks are completed daily.
• Ensure Efficiency: Maintain management information systems, attend training sessions, and take on special projects as directed.

Who You Are:

• Proactive Leader: Driven to meet and exceed targets, with 3-5 years of experience in reservations and/or yield management in the hotel sector in Ireland.
• Outgoing Personality: Able to build strong relationships with team members, heads of departments, and clients.
• Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent time management and organization abilities.
• Customer-Focused: High standards of customer care with good problem-solving skills.
• Self-Motivated: Eager to succeed in a challenging environment, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible: Fluent in English and willing to work flexible hours.
• Qualified: Must have full working rights in Ireland.
