Our client is currently recruiting for a waiter / waitress for a busy Bar and Restaurant. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. The food ranges from pizza to steaks and more. This role would suit somebody with experience in a busy restaurant environment and the ambition to grow within.
Locations: Portlaoise
Salary: € 14/ €15 Depending on experience
Hours: Full time, 5 days over 7
*Candidates must have legal status to live and work in the Republic of Ireland
Main Duties to include:
- Welcoming and seating guests and communicate with them in a pleasant manner
- Memorise the food and drink menu
- Taking guest orders and recommend the daily special or other food and drink items
- Serving food and drinks to the guests in a timely manner communicating with the guests in pleasant manner
- Deal with the kitchen effectively
- Assist junior members when under pressure
- Work with management as required
Requirements:
- Good customer service experience
- Keeping calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ideal candidate has at least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position
