Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultations: Meet with couples to understand their vision and requirements for their wedding day.
- Wedding Planning: Develop detailed wedding plans, timelines, and checklists.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to ensure all aspects of the wedding are executed flawlessly.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, etc.) to secure services and ensure they meet the couples’ expectations and our standards.
- Budget Oversight: Assist couples in managing their wedding budgets and provide cost-saving suggestions while maintaining quality.
- Menu Tastings: Organize and oversee menu tastings, working closely with the culinary team to ensure the food meets the couple’s expectations.
- Billing Management: Manage invoicing for weddings, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Day-of Management: Oversee all wedding day activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule. Be the main point of contact for the couple and their guests.
- Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Service Marketing: Assist in the marketing of wedding services and packages.
- Venue Showcases: Conduct venue tours and provide detailed information to potential clients.
- Wedding Fairs: Organize in-house wedding fairs and attend wedding showcases to promote our services.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and on the wedding day, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Weddings Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of wedding traditions, customs, and current trends.
- Familiarity with local vendors and venues is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate wedding schedules.
- Competent in using event planning software and other relevant tools.
